I signed up for a credit card that promised no annual fees, but within a year, they imposed an annual fee. I closed the account and settled the balance on 12/19/25, but then on 1/19/26, I noticed a $150 charge on my debit card for a closed account with a zero balance. When I reached out to them, instead of resolving the issue or providing a refund, they advised me to contact my bank and dispute the charge, which is a much more complicated process. Very disappointing experience with this company and their customer service. I'm relieved to have closed the account.
