This company plays delaying tactics, my recent holiday in Pert Australia was fantastic until I fell and hurt my right wrist. Seen the local doctor who was amazing and advised me to get a scan a few days later she called with my results. Good news just badly bruised although no surprise at my age 67 some osteoarthritis. I decided to claim the expensive Insure we had taken out in the UK before we travelled, the cost was for the scan which amounted to £200. Normally I wouldn't have bothered but my wife had to buy some COPD inhaler and heart medication which was expensive.
The claim got refused, after they first delayed things by a month or so I had already sent them the scan clinics report the later they said we need the written doctors report? which wasn't easy as we were travelling, however the doctor emailed through a full report. I never heard from Avanti again only two other associated companies ERGO and Ervasistance who were asking the same questions over and over, every time a different person it was tiring and annoying.
