Avanti refused to read clinic emails which directly put my grandfather at risk of dying in a foreign country telling us that they had read them and that they had communicated with the clinic when in fact this was the exact opposite of what the clinic was telling us. If they had actually read the emails they would have known he needed to be moved ASAP. Staff incredibly unhelpful pushing us from pillar to post constantly. I would avoid this company like the plague if I were you. Even the clinic in Cape Verde told us that this is the worst company to do business with. Don't give them your money go with them a reputable travel insurance
