Incorrect flight itinerary + poor customer service

I’m extremely disappointed with my first experience flying with Avelo Airlines. My original flight was Grand Rapids to Raleigh on November 10, returning November 17. I changed the dates almost two hours before departure because a seat was available and paid an extra $60 for the change.When I received my new confirmation, the itinerary was completely wrong — both flights were listed on November 10 and in reverse, showing Raleigh → Grand Rapids instead of Grand Rapids → Raleigh. That’s not a mistake I would ever make since my original booking already had the correct direction.I went to the airport immediately to fix it, but the agent wasn’t helpful, and her supervisor, Parker, refused to come to the counter, saying I “should’ve been there earlier,” even though I had literally just rebooked less than two hours prior.When I called customer service, they still wouldn’t fix the error. Instead, I was charged a 50% cancellation fee and only got Avelo credit for the $60 I paid — credit I don’t even want because I have no intention of flying with Avelo again.This issue was clearly caused by an error in Avelo’s system, and the way it was handled was unprofessional and dismissive. I’d strongly caution anyone considering booking with Avelo — there’s no accountability when their system makes a mistake.
