Ordered some Clinique stuff on 20 January. Got order confirmation which said we'll send you a dispatch email when sent. They also charged my card the same day.I hear nothing so 11 days later on 31 January I send an email to cs at avenueretail.co.uk to ask what's happening. No reply.On 3 Feb I speak to an agent via their chat. All they can tell me is to wait for "updates". No indication how long, having already been two weeks. I ask for a refund. They say email refunds at avenueretail.co.uk. I do and I get an automated reply saying they'll process a refund and it should be with me in up to 10 working days later. 10 working days later no refund so I email them again. I get the same automated reply that they will process a refund and I should get it in up to 10 working days. In the end I got a chargeback from my credit card provider.I can't think of another occasion I had such a problem with an online retailer. Very poor and quite bizarre.
