I purchased and installed AVG Antivirus and Internet Security. After installation, my computer started running very slowly. A couple of months later, I investigated the issue and found that AVG was causing my system to become unresponsive. To diagnose the problem, I tried changing the RAM and updating the software, but nothing worked. Finally, I uninstalled AVG, and that solved the issue. Since then, my computer has not hung or become unresponsive while working.
