I recently rented a car from Avis at Barcelona Airport and unfortunately had a very bad experience.I returned the vehicle with a full fuel tank, as required in the rental agreement. There is a fuel station located approximately 5 kilometres from the airport, where I filled the tank just before returning the car. Despite this, I was later charged around €40 for fuel.I find this charge completely unfair and unjustified. I made sure to return the car with a full tank, and I fulfilled my obligations as a customer. This situation is very disappointing and frankly quite upsetting, as I expected better service and transparency from a company like AVIS.I hope this issue can be reviewed and resolved properly.
