TERRIBLE SERVICE. Do not use this company. Hired a car in March in La Palma (booked online through Expedia) for what I thought was a reasonable price. When I arrived the staff were not even busy (low season) but did not seem to attentive or caring. Informed me I had to buy an expensive insurance package, which I did to save hassle when returning the car. Then told me I had to bring the car back with a full tank and with proof that I had filled it within 15kms of the airport. This seemed reasonable and I did exactly as they asked and gave them the car back full with receipt proving I had filled up at the airport. They didn't take the money for the insurance package off my credit card until after I had had my holiday, given the car back and left the country. This is done on purpose and is a SCAM, because they will slyly take an extra 20 euros off your account. When I challenged them about this, through a slow process of back and forth emails, I was told this was because I had opted for the 'express fuel charge', (I opted for no such deal it was given to me) but that the extra charge is a non-refundable commission for having this full-to-full fuel option. Essentially, they are saving themselves time and hassle by getting everyone to fill their cars up for them AND making money for the privilege of it! Even though the customer is doing the hard work. I had no option to opt out of this, I wasn't even told the money would be taken from my account in the first place and I can rest assured if I had brought the car back empty I would have incurred an even bigger charge. You cannot win!!! I will not be booking with them again, they put everything in their small print on purpose to try and trick you and scam more and more money of of you at every turn. Appauling.
