The guys were great. Very efficient and respectful. I considered they arrived on time because they had road delays that they had no control over. They completed the job quickly. I would recommend them for future moves.
This moving service is the worst! Every box and piece of furniture arrived broken, scratched, dented, or completely damaged. Several items never made it to us, and we're still trying to track them down, but the support team has been unresponsive. They won't even provide a claim form! Avoid this service at all costs! They make false promises, claiming quick delivery but taking a month instead—picking up in November and delivering some items in January.
I strongly recommend steering clear of these movers. They exhibited untrustworthy behavior, and the management team took no action. - The movers were six hours late and hastily packed items into the truck as the storage unit was closing at 10:00 PM.
- Due to their careless packing, I was charged for additional truck space despite their inefficiency.
- Many items were damaged because they didn't wrap or pack them properly, resulting in over a hundred broken or scratched belongings.
- They even stole items, beginning with a special knife I was using to unpack. Numerous items are still missing with no explanation.
- They presented documents in a foreign language that I was pressured to sign.
- Initially, they promised delivery in "2-12 days," which later shifted to "2-12 business days," then "when we find a driver," eventually extending to "30 days" and "30 business days". Each time I called, the timeline changed. A two-day trip turned into a month of waiting with us sitting on the floor!
- They wouldn't let us inspect our items for damage before demanding payment, threatening to leave if we didn't pay.
- They insisted on cash or Zelle, which is a red flag for dishonesty.
- After I paid in cash, they kept $90 of the balance owed.
- They demanded nearly $2000 extra for items I had previously listed, right before the storage unit closed for the night. With added fees and fuel costs, the move ended up costing me over $3000 more than initially quoted, claiming my items were larger than standard.
- They agreed to move 50 boxes (5 cubic feet each) but only delivered a dozen, despite my payment for the entire truck.
- The workers spoke in a foreign language, leaving me unaware of their conversations unless I understood the language.
- They even called the authorities when I requested to see my belongings before payment. I could detail this nightmare for much longer. Their promises mean nothing, and the move ended up costing me double what I was initially told. They always reference the contract to justify their actions, which allows them to delay and charge more. I learned the hard way that their word is unreliable. After dealing with them for six weeks, I could write a book! They are truly dishonest. As a teacher for 40 years, I've always valued honesty and trust in my dealings, but this experience has proven otherwise with this company, and they have yet to rectify the situation.
Great service! Moved from Nebraska out of state and they carefully wrapped my furniture and miscellaneous items as needed. They were able to accommodate an expedited move for me very last minute (next day delivery for an out of state move) for a reasonable cost. Would recommend and use this company again.
We couldn’t be more pleased with Azimuth Group Van Lines! Our home sold before our new home was ready. They picked up our belongings and stored them safely for over a month. We had boxed many items before their arrival, but the large and awkward pieces they carefully wrapped - we’ve never seen so much wrapping - they definitely did it better than we would have done or ever expected. The crew was quick and efficient, they were pleasant to interact with, polite and treated everything with kid gloves. They were on time - not a thing was broken or damaged - we could go on and on!! We don’t really want to move again, but if we do Safe Ship and Azimuth will be our first and last call. We cannot recommend them highly enough. It’s a shame we can’t give them 10 stars!!
