My husband booked an end of tenancy cleaning and paid extra for the conservatory, expecting a proper “deposit-ready” result as advertised. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing.The cleaners refused to clean the conservatory roof from the inside, saying it was too tall, even though it’s a standard-sized roof. They didn’t bring a ladder and wouldn’t use the stepping stool we offered. The kitchen hob and extractor weren’t degreased, the bathroom wasn’t descaled properly, and we had to repeatedly point out missed areas like mirrors, corners, and spider webs.The appointment was booked for 9am, but the cleaner called at 9:30 asking to move it to 2pm and still arrived late with no updates. We ended up waiting the entire day and leaving the property after 6pm.This was not a proper deep clean and certainly not “deposit ready.” We’ve had to go back ourselves to clean areas that should have been covered. If your cleaners aren’t equipped or trained to handle conservatories, this service shouldn’t be offered.I’ve requested a full refund for the conservatory and a partial refund for the bathroom and kitchen. Extremely disappointing experience — not worth the cost or stress.
