Extremely bad experience. They have a hotline at where it is "normal" that you have these endless waiting times. So no exception. To me this is a half fake hotline especially in rush hours. Then they offer to call you back. I receive no call back.Waiting now for 1 hour 40 in the waiting line on phone! minutes and no end visible! All the time the same loop text hundred times now?To me this is utmost customer disrespect!For a _necessary_ service to book before flying which is _only possible_ by phone (additional luggage)!Not possible via website or even in agency or way more expensive last minute :( on airport. This is unbelievable. Messing up my whole trip organization this time! timing and preparation. I am really annoyed. Who pays my troubles back now!? I already expect the "poker face" phrases which will be repeated with: "sorry, the 48h before flying have passed, you have to pay 6Euro/kg."I also sent them several emails inbetween to customer service (which are received as "read"). No reaction. No contact, no call.It is normal workday, afternoon.I´ve seen this too often. They say "we are currently very busy", but this is always! I often hung up then, but now I depend, is this sarkasm? They even dont invest in a service saying: "estimated waiting time 30/40/50min" or "15 clients before you" or whatever.They´ll know perfectly what will be expecting you.This is an absolute scream! :( Veery unsatisfying!) Nice surface, very bad core. Also today: attendant didnt understand me (not confident in english) and started lying. "I cant pass you to another colleague", I finally hang up. With all that mess about 3 hours ! on phone today and messing with this small thing. Next call was no problem to pass or get that information.They MUST have huge staff and/other problems which they dont show. this is not normal!UPDATE: in a few minutes the hotline will close for today. afterwards I cant book anymore my service.no reactions what soever. last try from my part to get a call back or to speak to someone directly."due to a large number of calls we are unable to attend your call as quickly as you might want" (hahaha), then they offer again to call back.I left my no again for this. (Not expecting solution yet.)This is a scam to me. Something is really wrong with SATA Azores Airline. They obviously don´t take their customers for serious. Is this a roulette to get your things done? Bad luck?Meanwhile waiting again I have to listen to the ?th time this: "Fly with us .. Return home with unforgettable memories (for sure). We have decades of experiences in the aviation industry, in which we are for love"OK hotline closed now. No reactions whatsoever.:(No guys, something is very wrong at SATA.--Ok update: last minute someone took the phone. poker face/robot reaction as expected. zero! reaction on that I was waiting all in all more than 1,5 hours (in truth more than 2h, I didnt even mention that).this seems totally normal to her. when I repeated two times that i find it unbelievable, it doesnt even seem worth a comment from her, she repeats they cant do anything, which is ridiculous of course. I could send a complaint bla bla . putting even all work on client. fits with the general impression.(i took her name and will do in this case later on. hopefully my last flight! with SATA(n?) ) !At least they should have offered a recompense or something.I found the right resume for my impressions on these experiences today: "Shameless".So this has come up to be my worst lifetime airline experience ( I have flown a loot and love to fly usually). Total ignorance and no regret for this disastrous situation.This is why it is worth a review to me. There are not many alternatives to Azores, this will be one of the reasons? No idea.
