B2C Europe (Maersk, TrackYourParcel) in Almere, Netherlands handled the customs clearance for my package of books sent with Evri (Hermes) and delivered in Belgium with Colis Privé. They took 3 to 4 days before they processed the package on which Belgian VAT had been prepaid. Tracking did not change at all during this period, and on some sites it was not even clear as to where the parcel was.By contrast DPD, even with VAT not prepaid, can collect VAT from the recipient and have the package moving within hours.
