Purchased a £700 Oxford baby dresser from Baby Planet. Upon unpacking the item, I quickly discovered that it was badly damaged. I immediately contacted the retailer (baby planet) and was told the number I had was for store purchases and not online purchased only. I then emailed the company and called them and was told they’d have to liaise with Mamas & Papas who made the dresser. 10 days later I am no further forward with only an offer of a £60 refund for an extremely expensive item of furniture that is damaged and not what was advertised. Baby planet has abdicated all responsibility for resolving this item, instead placing all the blame on Mamas & Papas and explaining to me they are powerless. I would strongly dissuade anyone buying something from here to go to the maker direct or a large, department store where you’ll know customer satisfaction and not just profit is the driver. I have been appalled with their responses and service and have now escalated my complaint more formally.
