I’ve been ordering from Bakkalim UK for a long time since I moved to the UK. Sometimes they sent wrong brands or missed small items, but I didn’t complain because they were only worth a few pounds. But my last order was a big disappointment.They shipped my order with DHL. When I opened the box, there was a strong pickle smell. One jar of pickles was missing, and the jam jar was broken. It looked okay outside, but when I opened it, jam spilled everywhere. Fragile items like biscuits were placed at the bottom of the box, which was very careless.I contacted them through WhatsApp. They asked me if I had a video of opening the box — which I didn’t, because who normally records that? I told them they charged me for items I didn’t receive. They blamed DHL and said the packaging was changed during transport. But I paid Bakkalim, not DHL — they are responsible.They said they would investigate and refund me. After 10 days, nothing happened. I contacted them again, and they said the money was sent. I checked my account — nothing. Then they said their IT team would fix it manually. Still, no refund.They took my money, didn’t deliver everything, and then wasted my time with excuses. It feels like they think customers are stupid. I will never buy from them again, and I don’t recommend anyone else to trust them.
