Bought a pair in the Black Friday sale reduced by 20% this was sent out without deducting the EU/Italian VAT although exported outside EU, I then received a bill from FedEx for GBP 36.00 even though the threshold for import tax is 150 Euros so 36 GBP certainly does not add up anyway. Endless emails back and forth with Ballerette, they are claiming to have deducted the Vat but clearly not. The delivery was also delayed by almost 2 weeks because of 'customs' so not only was it falsely exported but fedex did not check the paperwork either, FedEx report also very unclear what they are charging for. I have asked for proof of vat deduction but so far nothing. Happy to pay import tax and duty but not twice! That is illegal!
