It seriously disappoints me to even have to write this review but I would much rather warn people of my experience, I have used Banquet Records since 2020/2021 and have had little issues with them up until now, the tamer issues I have had is the odd email informing me that the item I ordered is out of stock despite it not being so on the website but the thing that has convinced me to stop using them all together happened a month ago. I saw a record listed on their store that I was very keen on and decided to order it, I placed the order through Zilch as I didn’t want to spend near enough a chunk of £40 in my bank but as I was doing so the order “failed” and my money was taken but no order was placed, since my money was taken Zilch still set up a payment plan. I thinking this was just a small error with Banquet decided to wait it out for a refund, it’s now the 6th of October and nothing has been solved. I have messaged Banquet and they are claiming that it is completely out of their hands and that they “don’t have access to the payment” which I find strange, wether as Zilch had informed me that Banquet has received the payment and in order for me to be refunded they must wait for Banquet to do so, Zilch also provided me with reference numbers to send over in order for Banquet to find my purchase and refund me but again “We don’t have access to rejected payments”, I see no fault in Zilch considering they first need the money back to refund me but after this whole ordeal I have come to find Banquet completely untrustworthy and I am deeply disappointed with the lack of help considering I have been a customer for five years, I will never use the website again and will be warning others.
