Bought a car less than a year old and picked it up on Saturday 20th June. Drove it out the garage and immediately an engine warning light came on. Obviously went straight back and they fixed it by resetting it. Told me it was a sensor that got wet when they were valetting the car. I live in kent drive home and turned the engine off. 10 minutes later started it up and the warning light was on and so the saga began. I could not get through to the salesman, who was too busy with other customers, the same excuse for the manager. Eventually after raising my voice and threatening all hell I was put through to a "business manager" whose only advice, as the workshop was closed, was to call back monday morning. Which I did, but decided to bypass the sales people and go straight to the service department. Again they were unhelpful and saying they were fully booked because of the Corona virus. ( if they can sell cars in this period, then you should have full back up ) Again I explained the situation and again it was not until I raised my voice and threatened them with hell that they put me through to the manager, who was the first person to take ownership of the problem. I then had to drive 60 miles back to the garage and wait 7 hours for the problem to be rectified. The only apology I got was from the service manager, who to his credit could not understand why on the Saturday they did not just give me a courtesy car and keep mine whilst they investigated the problem properly. Has anyone called to find out if it's all ok now? Leave you to work that one out. NO after service whatsoever and sales people who just want the money.
