Disastrous Insurance Experience – Delays and Unprofessionalism

Regrettably, I cannot recommend this insurance provider to anyone. My experience has been entirely negative, characterized by incompetence, poor communication, and a disrespectful attitude towards clients. On the night of October 19, I was in a traffic accident and promptly informed the insurance provider. The following morning, I received an email directing me to a specific repair shop for damage assessment. I visited the workshop that same day; all necessary inspections were completed, and I was told I would be contacted. So I waited. After some time, I learned that a police report was needed. The authorities indicated that only the insurance company or their lawyers could request such a document. I also reached out to the other party involved, who confirmed that all their matters had been settled. I contacted the insurance company multiple times via email, but received no response. After numerous attempts to call, I finally got through, only to be told I needed to obtain the police report myself. After considerable effort, I managed to secure the document for a fee and sent it to the insurance provider, requesting urgent action as weeks had passed since the accident. As expected, there was no response. My subsequent emails went unanswered, and calls were met with indifference. Eventually, I learned that my documents had been sent to the repair shop, but they claimed to have received nothing. I finally managed to get an appointment for February 5, three and a half months after the accident, and I still don’t know if the repair will take place. My emails continue to be ignored, and when I call, I am not taken seriously. This insurance provider even altered my contracts without consent, increasing my mileage limits despite me not exceeding them, placing a financial burden on me. They cynically stated, “If you stay below the limit, we will refund the money.” They are very proactive when it comes to collecting payments but leave customers waiting for months with unresolved issues. I deeply regret choosing this company, which I initially believed was reputable. If you want to avoid frustration and stress, think twice before signing a contract with them.
