Worst aftersales services ever experienced

What a joke these people are. I bought a MMI box over three weeks ago for a Mercedes NTG 4.7 head unit, and the installation instructions were very basic, but did indicate where the various connections were to be made. Got it connected up, but did not work. I called twice, but both times the call went straight to voicemail. I left a message for someone to please call back, but nothing. I sent a message through the contact form on the website, and also two text messages. Eventually after a little over two weeks of receiving the unit got a text response, asking to describe the issue, despite me explaining in the text message that I sent. I was then asked to send photos and a video of the wiring and explaining the issue, so that the fault could be diagnosed. Quite anoying, as I had disconnected everything so that I could actually drive my car without half of the dash off. I sent photos on WhatsApp, and asked where I should be looking on the screen to bring up the MMI menu, so that I could do a video. It's now over a week later and no response. I sent a message at the end of last week saying that I was at the point where I was going to return the box for a refund. Surprise, surprise, no response.I eventually got a bit creative and tried an online search for the unit, to see if I could find alternative installation instructions. Got lucky, as an Australian company sell the same box under different branding. Their instructions were much clearer, and more to the point, were not the same directions as those included with this box! There were a couple of fibre optic cables that need to be moved from the original harness to the new harness, and an AV cable that had to be removed from the rear of the head unit and plugged in elsewhere, with the new AV cable from the box going directly into the head unit. They also have dedicated troubleshooting pages for audio and video issues.I'm happy that I got the box working, but extremely umhappy that these muppets have my money - I'd rather it be someone that actually gives a damn following a sale. If you are looking into buying one of these boxes, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, they don't deserve your custom, and you don't need the headache.
