I booked Hotel Bero through Wonderbox with my gift cheque and was clearly shown a total price of €0.00 (except local taxes) with written confirmation. After confirming, I suddenly received a booking confirmation of the hotel for €102.58 extra, plus a €3 pp city tax. This is exactly what I was told wouldn’t happen. Wonderbox has been slow and unhelpful so far. The platform is also cumbersome—you spend ages finding something that fits, only to be hit with unexpected costs. This feels like a breach of what was advertised and agreed.
