I tried this subscription while figuring out my preferred roasts. Unfortunately, the first two bags I received in October 2025 were expired! These were selected for me, and I didn’t realize I could choose. I answered three questions and trusted the service to send something good. I’m glad they were expired because the espresso I made was terrible. The questions asked didn’t help me find what I like; they should ask about roast levels instead. After spending a significant amount on an espresso machine, the tutorials suggest using beans with a roast date. My bags had no roast date and were expired! I wouldn’t expect to pay for a subscription sending outdated beans. While customer support replaced the bags, I lack faith in the quality from this service. It's unfortunate, as the coffee subscription market is competitive, and this service missed the mark. I can get expired beans anywhere; sadly, I won’t be continuing with this service.
