I spent literally ages watching the videos to make sure I ordered the correct colour when choosing my topper. The website stated that they do 12 standard shades in all the different toppers. I chose cocoa sunlight which in the video looked dark brown with reddish and blonde highlights and the blonde highlights looked quite chunky which I liked. Anyway checked the delivery which stated 2-5 working days, dispatched in 48 hours. So 11 days later I received my topper, I was so excited but when I took her out of the bag she was, well I would say very very dark almost black with very fine redish brown highlights, no blonde in sight so I sent her back. I emailed the address that was on the label in the box which wasn’t a live email address so my message failed? I then emailed the main address which you only get a response to every 2-3 days and was told that they could send a replacement cocoa sunlight as they have one with more blonde? I thought there were 12 standard shades? If this is the case why are they so different and why did it have no blonde at all. Anyway, I sent it back and asked for Nutmeg sunlight, watched the video again before requesting and waited for a response. I waited nearly a week and didn’t hear anything so emailed again. Tracey came back to me and said she was waiting for the colourist to let her know when it was ready? I thought it was a stock piece. Anyway after waiting in total a whole month, my replacement arrived today. She is a medium brown with very VERY fine blonde bits that only seem to be near the roots. Nothing like nutmeg sunlight that is on the video. She also looks quite dry on the lengths. I am keeping her, I am going to see what my hairdresser can do for me regarding adding blonde so she actually has highlights. I am so disappointed with my experience. Toppers are not cheap and I expected good customer service. They only work 10-3 Monday to Friday and you cannot speak to anyone on the phone just email and you have to wait 48 hours for a reply.I think they need to make people aware that the colour is individual and that there are no standard shades. Not sure if I would buy from this company again which is sad because after watching all the videos, I thought I had found a great supplier. Maybe they just need to employ more staff or buck up their ideas when it comes to customer service. You can take weeks to sort out a customers order but demand that if you want a replacement or refund, you have to return 1st class and within 3 days. It doesn’t work like that. If they expect customers to adhere to their requests, they need to start treating customers with respect and be thankful they have customers. They also need to remember that a lot of their customers feel they have found the perfect solution to their hair thinning worries when buying their topper and be more understanding and honest when stating what they can provide.
