I really wanted to love these products, but unfortunately they have been a disappointment overall.Starting with the eyeliner: I initially had an issue with it and must say the customer service was excellent. They were responsive and sent me a replacement straight away, which I appreciated. Sadly, the replacement wasn’t any better. The tip is extremely soft and simply doesn’t hold. It crushes against the eyelid instead of gliding on smoothly. I even bought two different pencil sharpeners trying to get a proper tip, but each time was flattened rather than sharpened, and eventually snapped in the middle. It’s frustrating to use and impossible to get a clean line.The eye concealer was another let-down. I really don’t like the finish. It has a dewy look that doesn’t suit me at all.As for the eyebrow pencil, the colour payoff is very poor. The shade barely transfers onto my skin, making it ineffective and difficult to use, no matter how much I build it up.Despite the excellent customer service, the actual makeup quality is, in my experience, very average.Updated review 10/01One very positive note is that Beauty and the Boutique has outstanding customer service. This level of care really stood out, and I’m sure, seing other positive reviews that some of their products are excellent.
