am seriously upset with Bed Bath & Beyond. I have done some redoing of things and have ordered quite a bit from them. Most of which I was satisfied with. But I had to return some things twice. The first was for an amount of $49 and change the second was for $90 and change. When I hadn't seen either in my bank account I called them and I was told the first for $49 would be in my account Today which it wasn't. I even got an email from "Justin" stating they released the funds and would be in my account today. So I called again. I was told that since I ordered the item but cancelled it within minutes they just applied the charge then was able to reverse the charge so it was a wash. I totally get that. My question regarding that one though, is why did I get the email stating a refund went to my bank account. Now, for the $90. The woman I spoke with "Makenzie" stated that instead of a refund they applied it to a store credit which is something I never do. I wanted the refund sent by the same method it was paid but they did a store credit. Now, she stated that they can't turn that around and issue the refund to me. Which we all know is shear B.S. Anything can be done. She checked with the "manager" and the manager said they could not talk to me they were too busy. But when they got to it she or someone would call me. I asked about how long that would take and McKenzie said they have about 30 claims before mine so they are busy and it could take awhile. As far as I'm concerned they are holding my refund hostage instead of doing the right thing. So I am warning you all the BED BATH N BEYOND is very sketchy . When the order goes in they take the money immediately even before the item is sent. But try and get it back is another story.
