Bed, bath and beyond uses a third party for shipping. Once you’ve purchased an item from bed, bath and beyond; they relinquish all responsibility. Leaving their customers with NO support.
I purchased the "wood" bakers rack.
I'm very handy, this isn't the first piece of furniture I've assembled, and the instructions seemed very straightforward, HOWEVER, the item itself is the absolute worst assembly required piece of furniture I've EVER purchased. It's very unstable, the pieces don't fit properly, and there's a big gap between the doors because they're the WRONG SIZE.... they're too short and don't meet in the middle.
I consider the money AND time I spent on this piece of garbage utterly wasted and I will no longer purchase anything from BB&B or Overstock
If there was no stars that’s what I would choose. Anyone ordering from these idiots is asking for your money to be stolen. They are in Bankruptcy and also overstocked is involved. What a joke. Don’t order from them if you value ur money
I'm done with BB&B they are no longer what they once were. Discounts removed at check out. Return postage charge is exorbitant, so you will never get a full refund. One product was not as described and photos/description were misleading. The other product was filmsy and fabric tore with first wash (washed according to lavmbel instructions).
I bought two sets of queen bed sheets upon receiving I realized this was the same brand I had bought from
A competitor and found them to be of poor quality. I immediately contacted BB&B customer service advised the representative the sheets were still in the original packaging and requested a RMA # which was issued. I was advised I would have to pay the return shipping charge and agreed to pay. I paid $71.67 for the sheets, my refund issued by BB&B was only $18.67. I again phoned customer service to complain why they only refunded $18.67 and was told the $53.00 included return shipping and handling fee. I had purchased from BB&B all my adult life until they closed all their retail outlets and was always pleased doing business at their stores. But never again will I ever order from their mail order store. I highly suggest and recommend anyone who reads this review never , never do business with BB&B either.
Today ripped off returning an item. Paid $35 for said item was credited 90 cents for return. Will not do business with Bed Bath and Beyond ever again. Horrible customer service and horrible return policy
If I could give a minus 5 stars I would. After waiting 30 minutes on hold. I tried to return a rug that was purchased in error - I was quoted $ 54.00 to return the rug. When I refused to pay that and asked to speak to a manager I was told it would be free if I purchased a one year membership. I will never buy anything from BBandB again.
They charge $35 for each return label, even if you order just one package that gets shipped in multiple parcels! I ended up paying $70 just to return an item I bought! It's absurd, and there's no clear warning about this on the homepage. I'm sure it's hidden in fine print that you have to search for... unbelievable!
Think carefully before placing an order with this service! Make sure to read and understand their return policy! I ordered 9 items, including curtain panels and a valance. While the items arrived on time, it was clear upon opening that they were much thicker than expected. Consequently, we needed to return part of the order (3 out of 9 items). The return process required us to enter the valance separately from the curtains. For the valance, they wanted to charge $20.80 for the return label, even though the purchase price was only $20.39. Then, for each of the two curtain panels, they wanted to charge another $20.80 each, despite the purchase price being $26.72 each. They also insisted that the items be shipped in two separate boxes, leading to two return shipping labels and two label fees. After waiting 45 minutes on the phone to reach a customer service representative, it took another hour with multiple hold times and small reductions in label fees offered by the representative. During the long waits, I called USPS and found I could ship everything in one box to the same location for $16, but the representative insisted they had to be shipped in two separate boxes since they were originally sent that way. At this point, I asked to speak with a supervisor, which required another long wait. In the end, I had no choice but to accept their return terms of separate boxes at $14.56 each. I will NEVER engage with this service again and strongly advise others to reconsider as well.
The service has completely failed. Do NOT make a purchase here. Shipping took an eternity. When I tried to return an item, they attempted to charge me $23 for a return on a $50 item! I’ll just keep the product, but I will NOT shop with them again.
