We wanted to like this bag. But when we used it, we found it unacceptable. Here's why.We took an overnight trip and packed accordingly. The bag was about half full. First, the bag itself weighs almost 5 pounds empty, but when it's even half-full it's VERY heavy. Second, the shoulder strap is virtually useless when the bag is heavy. Finally, the width of the bag is greater than the width of a carry-on bag so when the bag is heavy and placed on top of the carry-on, it is very difficult to keep it moving straight. Asked for a refund, which was denied because the bag had been used. So beware before you buy it and run into the same issues we faced.
