I just wanted to post on here as a bit of a warning to those based in the UK planning to order from belenka. I ordered a pair of the winter boots in November and wore them 5 times when I noticed the sole was coming away from the boot. I contacted belenka who said that I could return these (at my own cost which was £23) for what I believed would be a simple refund. Belenka then repaired the boots and shipped them back to me without my approval of this course of action despite saying in every single communication that I did not want them repairing as I believed the same thing would happen again and that I wanted a refund. I just wanted to make you aware that the returns process is very different to that of the UK and if there is a fault within the warranty period that you will be liable for the return costs. All of this information is brilliantly hidden away in the terms and conditions jargon which I did read before ordering but translation makes it all a bit waffle like.I appreciate a repair might seem like a adequate solution for some people but for me it was not. I did not believe that a repair would solve the problem and asking for the buyer to pay return shipping is just phenomenal. The returns process is flawed and outdated and communication about how it worked is minimal....and overall terrible customer services. I’m still awaiting a refund.....
