A brief follow-up as promised. Berkfield Home finally refunded the damaged item that I purchased. However, they won't collect the item. They sent an email stating the following:“Our intention is to make amends for any dissatisfaction or inconvenience you may have experienced. By offering a refund without requesting the return of the product(s), we aim to simplify the process for you and ensure that you are compensated for any inconvenience or disappointment caused. We value your satisfaction as a customer and want to make things right.Having to get rid of 25kg of metal by myself is not convenient, nor does it simplify the process for me or make things right. If I can’t get someone to help me, I’ll have to ask my local council for a bulky collection at a cost of £28.25.I recommend people reading this review keep this I mind before making a purchase from Berkfield Home.
