We arrived at the airport with over two hours before our flight, but the passport control was a complete disaster. The area was severely understaffed, and the lines barely moved. Despite the urgency, the staff showed no sense of urgency whatsoever. When we politely explained that our flight was about to leave, we received repeated responses that there was nothing they could do. Their attitude was rude and dismissive, making it clear they didn’t care. After finally moving forward, we were stuck behind someone with passport issues, causing further delays. To make matters worse, an officer incorrectly claimed a passport stamp was missing, adding yet another unnecessary hold-up. As a result, we missed our flight and ended up spending hundreds on new tickets, a taxi to another airport, and extra parking fees — all of which could have been avoided. This was one of the worst airport experiences I have ever faced. Passport control is mismanaged, and the staff are unhelpful and indifferent, unwilling to assist passengers even when flights are about to leave. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this airport or arrive much earlier than you think you should.
