We arrived at the airport with more than two hours to catch our flight, yet the passport control was a complete mess. The area was severely understaffed, and the lines hardly moved. Despite the urgency, staff showed no sense of urgency. When we politely mentioned our imminent flight, we were met with claims that there was nothing they could do. Their demeanor was rude and dismissive. After finally moving forward, we ended up behind someone with passport issues, causing further delays. An officer wrongly stated that a passport stamp was missing, leading to an unnecessary hold-up. Consequently, we missed our flight and incurred hundreds in expenses for new tickets and additional fees — all avoidable. This was among the worst airport experiences I've encountered. Passport control is poorly managed, and the staff are unhelpful and indifferent. If you value your time and peace of mind, it’s best to avoid this airport or arrive much earlier.
