I’ve been using the BestMow Titan 100 on my 1.1-acre property, and it’s incredible. The RTK GPS keeps the mowing lines laser straight—way better than I could ever do manually. No boundary wires, just a clean setup and it’s off working perfectly every day. It handles slopes, rough spots, and thick grass without a problem. The app is easy to use, battery life is great, and the cut looks professional every time. I honestly can’t imagine going back to mowing myself.
Very impressed with this machine! The lines it makes are amazing, looks better than the ones I used to make on a push mower and better than the ones I used to make on my riding mower. You cant beat the accuracy of a machine. I purchased using the $59 a month subscription and I have to say I am very happy with my decision. In 2 years I own it but working those 2 years its maintained and covered by the company which gives me a peace of mind that if anything goes wrong im not stuck without any support. $59 a month is cheaper than what I was paying for a professional to cut my grass each month, so to le it was worth the investment.Set up was easy, if you know how to use a drill you will be fine. For those who rather not attach the RTK satellite to their home they provide the option to mount it in the ground on your lawn. I went with the option of putting it on the side of my house since it really isnt a huge device and it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb. I opted to run the power cable through my attic to an outlet in the garage and im very happy with my install method because it gave me the cleanest look. After setting up the RTK satellite all I needed to do was put the base down and power on the charging base to begin set up in the app.The app is very beautiful and modern. However setting it up in the app was the most troublesome part for me. The instructions say it should be added to a 2.4ghz network so this became a bit tricky no fault to Bestmow. Most modern routers do whats call bandsteering, this is where the 2.4ghz, 5ghz and sometimes 6ghz network are all combined and the router distributes the compatible band to devices that are capable of using specific ones. Older devices, or many security devices, or in this case bestmow which requires a far reaching band like 2.4ghz require the 2.4ghz band. When left up to the router it may not always assign these devices to it correctly if the feature that combines these bands are on. I went into my router settings after a few failled attempts to get the RTK and charging base hooked up to my wifi, and I took off the other bands leaving just the 2.4ghz band activated. I then connected and set up the bestmow, went to my router and set the newly added devices to work on 2.4ghz as the preferred network and then re-enabled the 5ghz and 6ghz bands. If you are not tech savvy and lnow how to manage your own router like me, or if you dont own your own router and rent one from your ISP then you may need to call them to have them either set up a 2.4ghz guest network or disable band steering and set a separate SSID for the 2.4ghz network. There's multiple ways around this problem such as my method, but to be honest unless you've owned and managed your own router networks since you were young you may struggle with it at first. But as you know technology is here to stay so theres no lack of benefit to buying your own router online or at best buy, learning a little networking and cutting down on the router rental fee you oay to your ISP provider each month (most charge $10 a month for their router equipment!).Now once all is set up the experience from there is smooth as butter. The first thing you do in the app is to map your areas of cutting, mark any obstacles and specify pathways youd like the robot to take when moving between areas that have fences, passageways, or just paths youd rather it move between your front and back lawn for example. To do this you can either controll the robot via the app to map put the cutting areas, or if you rather do it manually, you can attach the tow stick to the front and drag it along the perimeter of your areas to map out your property. You can create different areas so you can select which areas it cuts and when. One all set up is complete and all your areas map its time to sit back and watch in awe at how good it works. At first you may be lile me and be skeptical and think, theres no way this thing will cut better than a lawn mower. Its so quite! But just like me, you would be wrong. And this is one of the many few times in life where you could be happy and smile that you were wrong. The lines this robot males are phenomenal. During the first cut it seems to think and figure out what the best way to cut the property is, after some moving around and processing it sets its eyes on the prize and starts to go to work. I have about 8000 sqft for lawn space and it takes some time to cut it, but even if my whole property totals about 9 hours that's fine with me because for those 9 hours its silent as a mouse, does it own thing without me needing to correct it or keep a constant look at its progress, charges when it needs a breath to refill batteries (which is far and few between because it has a large battery) and it gets the job done! The app has many great features. By default the rain sensing is turned off but I suggest you turn that on, you can view on board cams and more. I ran out of characters so need to end here.
BESTMow is the second robotic lawn mower I’ve used. The first one I tried was the Segway Navimow i105, which I bought during Prime Day in July. The price of the Segway i105 was similar to BESTMow; I paid $799, about $200 cheaper than BESTMow at the time. But I quickly realized that cheaper doesn’t always mean better—the Navimow was really disappointing.I have both a front yard and a back yard, and my front yard has a slight slope of about 21°. When I tried to set up the Navimow, it couldn’t handle the slope during the mapping process. I spent nearly two hours under the sun, almost at 104°F, and still couldn’t complete the setup. I eventually gave up on Segway entirely. If even a big brand like Segway could perform this poorly, I lost faith in robotic mowers in general.Later, a friend told me that he could use a high-quality robotic mower for only $50 a month, so I decided to order BESTMow through his referral code. After doing the math, I realized that the $50-per-month subscription is actually more cost-effective than buying a similar mower on Amazon, so I decided to give it a try. At first, I was skeptical, but the setup took me only 20 minutes, and mapping took just over 10 minutes. BESTMow’s drag map mode is really convenient—I could simply guide the mower by dragging it, and it completed the mapping quickly. I’m not a fan of the virtual joystick on the phone; when I used the Navimow, it often went off course during manual mapping, and the mower would sometimes fall. Drag map, however, is very accurate and easy to control. After using BESTMow for several months, I’ve found it to be extremely reliable with no major issues. I’m admittedly a bit lazy and haven’t replaced the cutting blade yet, and even after three months, the blades are still usable.
I’ve had my BESTMow for 4 months now. It’s really quiet—I can even sleep in without being woken up by it. The machine rarely needs my intervention. In September, I had to replace the cutting disc because it suddenly cracked, and I suspect the fallen pinecones may have contributed to the damage. Fortunately, BESTMow comes with several spare discs. It’s also relatively affordable, costing only about $60 per month under their subscription model. Before I got this robot, I used to push‑mow the lawn every Friday—spending an entire afternoon sweating and getting bitten by mosquitoes. Now I can use the afternoons, which I used to spend mowing, to go out for beers and dinner with friends.I’ve found the customer support very convenient because I can ask a real person directly in the app without having to go through multiple AI bot responses first, which makes getting help much faster and easier. I think BESTMow is a solid option if your yard is fairly regular and you don’t mind a bit of tech.
Absolute best robot mower out there. Makes those perfect cross cut patterns on the grass. Never misses a spot. Highly highly highly recommend recommended! My lawn always looks better than my neighbors! And if you have to deal with customer care, they're amazing as well.
We have had several issues (not the companies fault) and they have stepped up to help each and every time. Their patience and professionalism is very refreshing. Truly impressed with the customer service skills. Thank you for helping us with our little 'Betty' Bestmow! PS, thank you Kai for all your help this morning!
I have used this mower the entire summer and really impressed. The support team has been very friendly and professional. What I like the most is the company strives to improve. I have had several updates and firmware upgrades that make the mower even better. I couldn’t be more pleased with my Robot mower. Thanks BESTMOW..
