I paid $2 AUD for a one-time PDF to Word conversion, but the file I received was entirely unreadable and unusable, indicating a failure of the service at a fundamental level. Subsequently, without any clear disclosure, invoice, confirmation email, or warning, my card was charged $60 AUD for a monthly subscription that I never explicitly agreed to. Due to the lack of proper notification, I missed the first charge, and the company proceeded to charge me again for a second month. This seems to be a calculated bait-and-switch tactic: luring customers with a low one-time offer, delivering subpar results, and then quietly enrolling them in an expensive recurring subscription. I find this behavior misleading and unethical. I highly recommend that others steer clear of this service and closely monitor their payment methods if they decide to use it.
