I am filing a formal complaint against BetOnline.ag regarding a blatantly unfair grading of a winning bet. The sportsbook is using predatory and deceptive market formatting to refuse a payout of $2,100.00 USD.

My Selection: Blackburn Rovers 0:1

Official Match Result: Birmingham 0 - 1 Blackburn Rovers
My bet accurately predicted the exact final score of the match. However, BetOnline graded the ticket as "Lost".
When I contacted live support, the agent (Tony Brown) explicitly admitted in the chat: "You bet on correct score Blackburn Rovers 0:1, as you mentioned...". However, he then used a completely absurd justification to deny the win, claiming that in their system, "Blackburn Rovers 0:1" means Blackburn scores 0 and the opponent scores 1.
Why this is predatory and unacceptable:
Universal Industry Standard: In soccer betting, matches are universally listed as Home vs. Away (Birmingham vs. Blackburn). Therefore, a correct score notation of 0:1 universally indicates the Home team scored 0 and the Away team scored 1.
Illogical UI/Naming: If the intention was to bet on Birmingham winning 1-0, the standard and logical market selection would simply be "Birmingham 1:0". Associating the Away team's name with a score that implies they lost (according to their twisted logic) is a deliberate UI trap designed to confuse bettors.
Ambiguity Must Not Punish the Player: If BetOnline's internal syntax deviates from the global sports betting standard, it is a flaw in their platform's design. Any ambiguity in market phrasing must be interpreted against the platform providing the odds, not used in bad faith to freeroll customers and void winning tickets.
I have screenshots of the bet slip, the official match result, and the chat log where the agent confirms my exact selection but uses this semantic trap to deny the payout.
I expect BetOnline to honor the universal standards of sports betting, correct this bad-faith grading, and credit my account with the $2,100.00 ($200 stake + $1,900 win) rightfully owed.
