Half term and I don't have the password for the app (wife does and she's at work).
So children couldn't swim today even though there are spaces at Teddington.
I phoned twice for help but they wouldn't let me book on the phone and I was told that the girls couldn't pay at the door.
That's lost revenue for the pool, disappointed children and frustrating waste of time for me.
If the front Reception could have helped then they didn't make that clear. In fact they said the opposite.
I believe them in that they couldn't help with the password as I don't have access to my wife's email account either, to reset a password.
Why they can no longer take a phone booking using a name and a credit card, or a booking at the door without an app, is beyond me.. They used to be able to do both of these things at Teddington Pool. They would rather have an empty pool I guess. When I phoned in the morning they had 6 free spaces between 4pm and 5pm.
(Wife went swimming tonight. Mentioned all this at the desk. Seems the central call centre people on the phone gave out completely incorrect info when they said we couldn't turn up and get in if there was space. Not very well organised by Better so the one star remains.)
