I am beyond frustrated with BetterHelp.
I was charged €240 every four weeks for over a year despite not using the service at all no sessions, no messages, no contact with a therapist. The charges continued silently until I discovered them myself.
What makes this worse is the complete lack of customer support.
There is no phone number to contact anyone.
Emails have gone unanswered.
There is no real way to speak to a human being when something goes wrong.
For a mental health company, this level of inaccessibility is deeply concerning.
Charging people hundreds of euros for a service they are not using, while providing no meaningful way to resolve billing issues, feels unethical and predatory.
I am now being forced to pursue refunds and chargebacks through my bank because BetterHelp has not responded through any support channel.
If BetterHelp wishes to resolve this, they are welcome to contact me, but so far, silence has been the only response.
I strongly advise anyone considering this service to watch their billing extremely carefully and not assume inactivity equals cancellation.
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in the platform.
