Akai Hana should not be using their preferred online order system called " BeyondMenu" to take their online orders. It's a disgrace. I placed an order today at 6:48pm. On my confirmation email it said pick up time was 7:18pm. I arrived to the resturant on time given and my order had not even come through to the resturant. The hostess checked and played with the machine for a bit and my order finally came through. She apologized and said she would put my order in and that they would make it ASAP. I told her, not to worry and I would wait in my car, waited another 15 mins , came back in and my order had not been made yet. I asked how much longer it would take to have my one sushi roll made and they said they didnt know and that sit- down customers at resturant take priority. I was very disappointed. I have been a customer for over 10 years and never had a bad experience here. I didn't just want to wait with no expected time for my food to be ready so I asked for a refund.They were having problems refunding me as BeyondMenu is a third party system they use and can't just cancel orders at the resturant. She had to call their customer service to have them refund me. Wasted an hour of my time. What a horrible system. Apparently for what the hostess said this has been a ongoing issue with BeyondMenu.
