I complained about a misunderstanding about tires about six months ago and want to apologize. Those awesome people at the shop are so overwhelmed with needy customers it's a wonder they can keep up with us! My radiator had a malfunction last week and when I got up in the morning to go to work it had run the battery dry and I had to call in sick. I walked from my house to an auto parts store to get something to start my car and while in transit called my Hyundai dealer, Toyota, and a few more auto shops and found out that they were all a week out just to look at it. That was scary, I had heard on the news that auto mechanics were backed up and there was a shortage of them but learned for myself, on a very cold day while walking...they ARE!So on the way back to my house I stopped by the Big O near me, the one that I had complained about, and prayed they would be able to help me, and not punish me for hurting them. Brian at the front desk was very soft spoken and kind, as always and made me feel comfortable and put me on the waiting list, but cautioned that I may have a long wait because they were so busy. But I was grateful that they were willing to try at all, after having called around town and found out nobody could even look at it 'till Monday. I need my car so much!After about a four hour wait they got me in. I was thinking it would cost me a fortune. Some mechanics and the co-owner Chris, himself, tested and evaluated it for some time and couldn't find the exact problem. Then Chris ran through his national data base looking for the similar problem for my model of car. He came back to tell me how much it would cost to fix but said he wasn't sure it would be the right fix and said the parts would still work and I could keep driving it safely and could take it to the Hyundai dealer for a full electronic diagnosis to be sure rather than spend nine hundred bucks right then. He also insisted that I didn't need to pay anything for the diagnosis time they had spent on my car. Imagine how shocked I was?!!! In an ecstatic and relieved way! I can't believe they would do that for me!!!I intend to take my car in every time from now on and be really loyal to them because they have always been loyal to me and fixed my flats and done several other freebies that I had forgotten about. And they do have the best tires and best warranties I know of. I got a flat on a trip last fall and Big O fixed it for free in Boise Idaho.Thanks, I Love You Big O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
