AUTO RENEWAL SCAM
well having read the auto renewal saga here
i'm writing here so they cannot lose my request for my canceling auto renewal confirmation on there MCN website where they show your insurance via index no.
the 16 digit policy no. is the start of this trick ... no mention of they will auto renew automatically until you receive a huge bundle of docs ... on the 1st page at the top it states
YOUR BIKE INSURANCE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED in a pale orange above customer reference and address below it starts .. dear mr 'victim' .. thanks for choosing MCN Isnurance for your bike insurance last year. Your vehicle reg ... is due to expire on ... at ... and because we'll renew your policy automatically using your credit or debit card. you'll only need to call us if anything has changed blah blah using it is a legal requirement to have continuous insurance ... BIG LIE !... if you sworn of the public road you dont need to do that
so as there is no where on the site to cancel auto renewal i phoned up ... yup lady answered ... i stated i was cancelling the auto renewal and i wanted a return email to confirm it was cancelled (i hate the auto renewal scam ) after awhile she confirmed it was cancelled and i repeated (will be on there recordings) (retired police detective)
that i required confirmation by e-mail or on my account and she agreed
today at 5.30pm i sent on my account a message repeating this and that i had not received the confirmation
i got a confirm received and would get a reply in 18 hours ( photo evidence recorded)
so we will see ... my insurance finishes with them 13th april so i have chances of defeating them
of course during the beginning they insisted on all sorts on confirmations .. to the point i had go ask RAC insurance to provide a history of no claims document as they had cut my insurance off whilst riding in germany !! and made me pay an extra £93
SO YES READ THE ONE STARS AND RUN
OH THE REPEATING ANSWER FROM THEM IS JUST RUDE
update ... i have received on mcn app recognition of my cancelling auto renewal
never ever again will i allow this abuse of my time
