One of the few companies that were actually willing to quote for my 350cuin Boss Hoss, at my age [ 73 ] i am suprised i was even able to get insurance. Im very happy ,very easy process and the chap i spoke to was very ameanable and pleasant,the insurance itself was very sensibly priced so i didnt hesitate.
Was on the phone for over an hour trying to sort out my classic bike renewal - operator didn’t have a clue and quite condescending by calling me “lovey”.
Awful experience totally unprofessional and too expensive despite saying they will beat a like for like quote!
I never look forward to renewing my multibike policy- what a pleasant surprise this time - the call handler was very switched on and managed to get a substantial discount by going with another insurer (Thanks Sarah) you managed to put me in good mood on a rainy Saturday morning !!!
I received an online quote that I was pleased with, covering a motorbike for £156 over 12 months. They processed the payment and confirmed my coverage but needed further information. After providing the details, they informed me they couldn't insure me and refunded £104. This meant I was charged £52 for less than 24 hours of coverage and administrative fees. I'm frustrated that funds were taken for a 2007 motorbike valued at £1500, only to be charged for such a short period. It's quite absurd. As a business owner, I would never treat my customers this way. I cannot recommend this service.
I have a multi bike policy, but I'm only insuring one bike until summer. Initially, the process was straightforward, and I received my policy promptly. However, the follow-up regarding the other two bikes has been excessive, with numerous emails and calls. One representative assured me my number would be removed from the calling list, yet I received another call the next day. This experience is why I’m giving it 3 stars.
I haven't needed to make a claim, so I can't comment on that, but the purchasing process and adjustments have been smooth, aside from a rather high £50 admin fee for a brief call. Nevertheless, I'm generally satisfied with the service; the staff seem competent. In three years, I've only encountered one inexperienced operator who had to transfer my call, but everyone has to start somewhere.
1. Poor communication. Despite providing full details, I received a direct and upsetting email threatening to cancel my insurance if I didn’t provide information already submitted. I had to rush to respond within their deadline to maintain coverage, yet no apology or explanation was offered. 2. Early cancellation charges exceeded what was stated in the policy document, and after 8 months, no refund was offered. They even suggested I could owe more than the refund. The original cancellation fee was different from what was charged. There was no customer service support, and the sales and administration practices seemed questionable. Overall, not a friendly experience.
The initial contact and the scheduled callback were executed flawlessly. The assistant identified a missing part of my policy, called me back, and adjusted it, resulting in a lower premium. Such a high standard of service is rare these days. I renewed my policy and am extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Thank you.
