I ordered the 12kg Bespoke Smart Front Load Washer from Bing Lee as a Black Friday special, along with the 9kg Heat Pump Dryer. The order went through online, payment was taken immediately, and everything appeared fine.The next day I received a call from Bing Lee informing me that they couldn’t supply the items because their stock count was wrong. I explained that I was in no hurry and was happy to wait for restocking, only to be told the washer was a clearance item and would not be restocked at all.When I asked what this meant for my order, the only response was that I would receive a full refund. I then asked when the refund would be processed, as I wanted to use the funds during the Black Friday sales. I was told it would take a few working days through the bank. I explained this wasn’t acceptable given they had taken my money for an item they couldn’t supply. The response was basically that nothing could be done — end of call.Extremely disappointing experience. Taking payment for an item that isn’t actually in stock, then offering no meaningful solution and delaying the refund during major sales, is simply not good enough. I won’t be shopping with Bing Lee again.
