I am writing this to highlight a serious issue with both product quality and customer service regarding Order #2112662034.
I purchased a pair of Boston Shearlings for £160, and in less than 12 months, the metal fixings have already failed. Despite this being a premium product,
Birkenstock’s support team suggested that I pay for my own repair—a clear disregard for the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, which covers manufacturing defects for products that fail within a reasonable timeframe.
To make matters worse:
Support has now stopped replying to my emails.
My previous social media comments highlighting this issue have been removed instead of being addressed.
I am not prepared to pay for a local repair on a faulty item that is less than a year old. I expect a premium brand to stand behind its craftsmanship.
Birkenstock: Please respond to my email immediately and resolve this matter.
