I have been a Bitdefender customer for many years and have relied on their Total Security software for my PC's protection and my Android mobile phone. I recently purchased a reputed MP3 player with an Android operating system. I set up a PIN, but when I rebooted the player the PIN did not work. I had to get the player cleaned by my local PC repair shop and the original software installed. Again, I reinstalled Bitdefender but again the PIN function did not work. Bitdefender's support said that they knew about this problem with non-standard devices (that is not a mobile phone) and their advice was to pay to have the unit cleaned again, and when reinstalling Bitdefender, don't install the PIN function. They felt no responsibility at all, and did not feel that they should have issued a warning.
