BLACK+DECKER ARE COMITING FRAUD TRADING STANDARDS HAVE BEEN INFORMED. I AM £300 OUT OF POCKET FOR A DEVICE THAT WILL NEVER WORK AS WIFI MODULE IS MISSING Brought a black and decker smart home dehumidifier and paid extra for this feature. Upon trying to connect to wifi/phone app it wouldnt connect.I reached out to BLACK+DECKER customer support and gave them my model number and there response was there was a misprint and is not a wifi model. Here's there responseThank you for your enquiry. Please note that the BXEH60016GBL dehumidifier does not have Wi-Fi functionality and cannot be connected to an app or smart home system. All controls and settings are operated directly from the unit’s control panel. We are aware that the user manual references Wi-Fi connectivity. Unfortunately, this is a printing error, and we sincerely apologise for any confusion this may have caused. The documentation has since been corrected; however, manuals included with stock already supplied to retailers cannot be amended.
