Speed falls short of expectations

The speed I’m getting is nowhere near what was promised. I can only manage 2 bars on their equipment. I’ve tried various locations in my home and even outside, where I had at least 3 bars, but the speed remains disappointing. I live in a somewhat hilly area, and my cell signal is only 2-3 bars. I pay about $60 for my current service and $100 for slightly faster speeds isn’t worth it to me. With three people in my household, we often experience lag, even when using their equipment. I feel the cost is too high for the speed provided, especially in a remote area where faster internet is not available. I recently contacted customer service, but the representative didn’t provide much information and just kept asking if I needed anything else. I’m considering returning their equipment. Paying more for just a small speed increase doesn’t seem worthwhile.
