The cameras take a little bit of hassle to setup and once on run fairly well. That is if you pay for one of their "ai subscription plans".
The scoundrels that run that company have essentially gutted my cameras functionality and are holding it ransom unless I cough up $20 per month. I've already bought and paid for this camera system well over a year ago. Essential features I had access to are now paywalled.
The only thing that happens with "AI" is that you will get a notification with a video description that is sometimes accurate but mostly not.
Oh and i was just informed that I cannot continue my subscription through apple so now I get to fight to recover my blink.com account password. By the way, password recovery isnt available on blink.com, only on their app. But you cant keep subscriptions on the app.
These cameras were at an okay place value wise.. but no way are they worth it for the initial purchase price + $20 a month. If you only have one device you can get a discount because there is an option for $11 per month per device but the devices are most commonly sold in pairs or triples. There is no customer service, you'll get an ai chatbot runaround and nothing more. I absolutely would not touch this vampiric company with a ten thousand foot pole.
The only store video clips for 60 days with no apparent way of downloading them or saving them for the future. Wish I hadn't bought these, budgeting now to replace them.
