I truly appreciate the branding and personal service offered here, and I hesitate to criticize too harshly because they do get many things right. My concerns focus primarily on the quality of materials used in the frames and lenses. I purchased a pair about 18 months ago, opting for upgraded lenses due to their reputable quality. I have consistently cared for my glasses with the appropriate cleaner for over 15 years. However, within a year, the coating on the lenses began to peel, which was unexpected. The support team was excellent when I reached out, facilitating a return and replacement due to a defect. Fast forward six months, while cleaning the glasses, the entire frame unexpectedly fell apart at the bridge. The plastic broke in a way that felt sudden and disconcerting. Thankfully, I had backup contacts and didn't want to resort to makeshift repairs. Though 18 months had elapsed since my purchase, I contacted the company again, but they attributed the issue to wear and tear, stating it wouldn’t be covered under warranty. While I understand that 18 months is a significant duration, glasses typically last around 24 months, so I am disappointed to have encountered two faults in such a short time. I've never experienced a plastic frame breaking before; usually, they last for years, leaving me puzzled by this occurrence. I genuinely admire the brand and the service, but I feel I may have been unfortunate with the products. However, the quality of materials has made me hesitant to invest in another pair here, as it feels too risky at this point.
