I ordered a watch and, to my shock, received a package containing women’s underwear instead. Mistakes happen, but what followed was truly unacceptable.I contacted their customer service immediately and was repeatedly told to “wait 24 hours” or “wait 72 hours” while they “investigated” the issue. This unhelpful cycle went on for weeks with no resolution. Their team was dismissive, unresponsive, and clearly disorganized.To make matters worse, the email responses from their customer service were clearly automated and careless. For example, one email said: “I’m sorry the [name of the item] didn’t work out for you” they didn’t even bother to include the actual product name! This level of sloppiness proves they’re relying on impersonal software and not even checking their communication with customers.Ultimately, I had to resolve the situation through PayPal, not Bloomingdale’s. PayPal resolved it in less than 10 hours – something Bloomingdale’s failed to do for nearly a month.Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. Their customer service is unreliable, unprofessional, and unworthy of a reputable retailer. Avoid Bloomingdale’s at all costs.
