1 star.

This was an outrageous and upsetting experience, and in my opinion, this business feels like a scam disguised as a local florist.

I ordered a $310 standing funeral spray for my aunt’s funeral, believing Blossom Flower Delivery was a local flower shop. That is absolutely not what this turned out to be. No one in my family was local. We were all coming in from out of town, and I specifically wanted something large and beautiful to honor my aunt and bring some love and comfort to the funeral.

Even while ordering, I thought it was strange that the delivery window could be anywhere from two days before the funeral up to the actual day of the service. The funeral was at 5:00 p.m., and because their delivery window was supposedly 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., I was told I had to pay an extra guaranteed-time fee to make sure it got there on time. So I paid it. Because it was a funeral. Because this mattered.

Then, as the funeral was literally starting, my mother texted me that the flowers were not there.

I was furious. I immediately went to the site and learned the hard way that the chatbot is useless. The email option is useless too. Call them. That is the only way to get a real answer.

When I called, I stayed calm and polite at first. I always try to give a company the benefit of the doubt. But I could tell almost immediately this was going to be a problem. The representative sounded completely scripted, like a call center reading lines, with zero urgency and zero real concern.

She put me on hold, came back, and calmly told me there had been “an issue with the supplier,” but that it looked like the arrangement could be delivered the next day, and they could give me $10 off “for the inconvenience.”

What??

The next day?? For a funeral?? A loved one died. The funeral was already happening. Why on earth would anyone think that is an acceptable solution?

I told her absolutely not. Then she put me on hold again and came back with another absurd suggestion: they could deliver this huge funeral spray to a family member’s home. Again, what??? No one wants a giant funeral spray dropped at their house after the funeral is over, and no one even lived in the area anyway.

Then she said it could be shipped out of state.

At that point, it became even more obvious that this is not some true local flower shop like they want people to believe. This whole thing felt misleading from start to finish. I paid for the flowers, paid a tip, paid an extra guaranteed-time fee, and still had nothing there when the service began.

Only when I said this felt like a scam and that the whole experience was absurd did she finally initiate a refund. And even then, there was no real apology, no humanity, no urgency, no acknowledgment of how awful this was. Just flat, scripted responses like this was some routine inconvenience instead of a family funeral.

In my opinion, this company does a very good job of making people think they are ordering from a small local florist when that is not the experience I had at all. They took money for a funeral arrangement, failed to deliver it for the actual funeral, and then offered one ridiculous “solution” after another like none of this was a big deal.

In a moment of grief, this company added stress, disappointment, and confusion instead of care. I would never use them again.
