I’m really disappointed with what happened using a TK Maxx voucher from Blue Light Card.
I paid £260 for the voucher and tried to use it straight away at the till in TK Maxx. The barcode wouldn’t scan and it didn’t work. Because of that, I had to pay another £260 to complete my purchase.
So in total I’ve paid over £500, which is not acceptable.
I only opened the voucher on my phone at the checkout to use it. It didn’t work, so this is clearly a technical issue, not me changing my mind.
I contacted support but just got a standard reply saying nothing can be done because the voucher was opened. That doesn’t help, as the voucher was never actually used.
Please can you check if the voucher has been redeemed, look into why it didn’t work at the till, and either refund me or reissue the voucher.
I’ve used Blue Light Card many times before, but this has been really disappointing. I just want this sorted properly.
