Our family recently stayed at the Matney Ridge Estate in Banner elk North Carolina. This was our fourth time to stay at this home. This house has wonderful amenities and suits are growing family so well. We were very disappointed at the overall appearance and lack of cleanliness of this home with our recent visit. There was mold in the bathrooms, shower handles fell off, biofilm and sludge in the dispenser drip pan on the front of the refrigerator. Accumulated dust on the stairs, blinds hanging at the window windows, as well as kitchen chandeliers. There was an issue with the fireplace and the upstairs and downstairs filled with smoke. We had to open windows and doors for cross ventilation. Some family member started to feel sick. I hope these issues are resolved as we would love to continue our annual visits to the Matney Ridge Estate.
